About Us
Michael Vellucci
For more than three decades, Michael Vellucci has dedicated his career to residential and commercial construction, real estate investment, historic restoration, and the development of stronger, more energy-efficient building systems.
Michael began working in construction at the age of 18 before serving in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he worked with the North American Family Institute, helping mentor court-involved youth. During his time there, he developed innovative recreational and fitness programs and participated in one of the organization’s early pet-assisted therapy initiatives, introducing certified therapy dogs to help improve resident interaction and morale.
Although he found fulfillment in that work, his passion for construction ultimately led him back into the building industry.
After relocating to Florida in the early 1990s, Michael founded his own construction company and quickly expanded into residential building, property rehabilitation, and real estate investment. Over the years, he purchased, renovated, managed, and sold numerous residential and commercial properties throughout New England and the southeastern United States.
His experience includes:
- Building more than 120 custom and speculative homes.
- Renovating more than 350 residential properties.
- Completing work on more than 1,000 construction projects for homeowners and businesses.
- Managing approximately 50 residential rental units while operating construction companies.
- Restoring historic buildings throughout New England.
- Developing residential subdivisions and land development projects.
- Working as a FEMA disaster-response contractor following hurricanes and major flooding throughout Florida.
Michael currently holds or has held multiple professional contractor licenses, including:
- Florida General Contractor
- Roofing Contractor
- Electrical Contractor
- Plumbing Contractor
- HVAC Contractor
- Septic/Onsite Wastewater Contractor
Throughout his career he has also served as the qualifying agent for numerous construction companies throughout Florida.
As a qualifying agent, Michael’s role was to provide licensed contractor supervision and regulatory compliance as required under Florida law. Serving as a qualifying agent does not necessarily mean ownership or day-to-day management of the company. His responsibilities varied depending upon each individual agreement.
This experience has allowed him to oversee projects ranging from single-family homes to large commercial operations while mentoring contractors, improving quality standards, and helping businesses operate in compliance with Florida licensing requirements.
Michael’s interest in construction eventually evolved beyond traditional wood framing. Recognizing the need for stronger, more resilient, and more energy-efficient housing, he began focusing on Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) and reinforced concrete construction.
Today, his mission is to make durable, hurricane-resistant, energy-efficient homes more attainable for families while continuing to renovate older properties, restore historic structures, and assist construction companies throughout Florida as a licensed qualifying agent.
His philosophy is simple:
"Build it right. Build it to last. Treat every project as if your own family will live there."
